Debate
Political commentators over at CNN are setting the stage for this week’s presidential debate between President Joseph Robinette Biden and former President Donald John Trump. At CNN, they are worried that the real Donald Trump may show up for the debate instead of the grotesque straw man caricature they have been building up in their heads for years. The Biden strategy is to highlight the contrast between the rabidly racist and xenophobic Trump they have created in their imaginations and the successful and erudite president Joe Biden, who is also a figment of their imaginations. They are also worried that the real Joe Biden may show up as well. An actual quote from the top story on CNN’s website this morning reads “Assuming the Biden campaign sticks to this contrast strategy, Trump could thwart it by putting on a show of temperance and arriving with a list of plans to impress voters worried about their personal finances.”1
When asked about Trump's efforts to cheat at the debate by debating, professor of Clinical Observation and principal at the firm DeNile & De’Obvious, Dr. I.C. De’Obvious told top rated cable news show State of the Disunion “The first thing that stands out is the audacity of Trump to actually plan on delivering a message that resonates with at least half of the voting public. That is just untenable and is basically voter fraud and election interference. He is indeed going to cheat at this debate by stating his position and forming cogent arguments in support of his opinions in response to criticism in a free exchange of ideas. We may not agree with most of those ideas and he needs to be stopped. We are already going to silence his microphone when it’s not his turn to speak, but I propose that we don’t give him a microphone at all. Why would we? That would make us an accomplice to voter fraud and election interference!”
In a previous post on The Spiralbound Substack, I highlighted a few debate questions that were leaked to the Biden camp in preparation for this debate. This week, Joe Biden has taken refuge at Camp David for the week to prepare and there is nothing of note on his presidential schedule. This is seen as a good thing to the small team of ultra left wing radical elites who are really in charge at the Biden White House. “We don’t have to pretend like Biden is in charge this week, which is kinda normal I guess. It’s like when he’s at the beach except it’s a whole seven days, not just a long weekend.” said Polly Fibbings, Chief Propagandist for the Biden Campaign. In contrast to Biden’s week long debate prep marathon, were I’m told by confidential sources that Biden sometimes debates for up to 6 minutes at a time before needing a nap, Trump is preparing for the debate by arguing with a bag of Kennebec potatoes he picked up on sale at the Aldi just down the street from Mar-A-Lago.
It seems that the Biden Campaign and CNN are doing all they can to suppress viewers on other platforms other than CNN. Reports are that CNN is threatening “social channels” who use clips and provide commentary on the debate according to a Tweet from Tim Pool on X.
Traditionally, this has been covered under fair use and is not subject to DMCA. It would appear that they are trying to stop the spread of a potentially embarrassing performance by Biden. This could include either just a poor debate performance or another D-Day pants incident. At any rate, the bar is set very low for Joe Biden. All he has to do is show up, not die, and be somewhat coherent and he will be declared the winner.
